I got the idea for it a little ways after finishing the game a few years ago wherein I thought it would be interesting if Izanami would temporarily take control of Yu/Souji’s love interest (as evidenced by the grey hair and red eyes) to mess with him, hammering the (well-done) subtle implications of the Izanagi/Izanami myth in further by forcing him to fight said love interest and a fascimile persona resembling Izanagi in a difficult single battle. You’d have had the option to run, like Izanagi did in the legend, but doing so would permanently reverse that Social Link. If you didn’t have a love interest, she possessed Nanako instead.
